I joined Milestones in November 2010 because they were doing something different in the industry. They were providing a comprehensive, compassionate and professional level of real estate service to the senior community. Working with seniors in the sale of their home is a complex process involving many family members, and outside service firms (such as financial planners, attorney and tax advisors). It takes someone who works from their heart to be successful in this market, like Judy and Adam.

My specialty is young seniors 55+, moving from their longtime family home to their “dream” home. This usually means a downsize and sometimes an upgrade! My clients are my contemporaries; I understand the emotional, financial and logistical challenges that lay ahead. This move is a major life milestone!

I started my “second career” in Real Estate sales 5 years ago, and had just moved my mom from the family home in California to an independent living apartment here in Boston. My father had died suddenly and she was living alone, with no family close by. Even with the help of siblings, it was a daunting task balancing mom’s happiness with the reality she could no longer live in her house. It would have been so much easier for mom…and us, if my parents had found their dream home sooner.

I bring 35 years of experience as a business problem solver. Holding various sales and management positions in the technology field, I’ve learned the value of a satisfied customer. At GenRad, I was a Purchasing Agent for computer products and negotiated contracts and implemented a vendor performance program. As a Sales Engineer for JJ Wild, a manufactures rep for computer products, I developed new business and was active in new product/vendor selection. As the founder of a technology firm, PHASE III CORP, I wore many hats including CEO, Director of Sales/Marketing and Human Resources. We supported mini computers and the first personal computers. As one of the first independent firms in the service business, we provided innovative, cost effective service programs that solved our clients’ productivity problems. We maintained this competitive edge for over 20 years.
